Wedding Celebration

Our reception party will be held at Frankie’s 457 in Brooklyn on May 26th, from 1-4 pm.  We will have a short ceremony, food, and lots of fun! Informal attire.

Schedule:

1pm: venue opens/cocktails begin
1:30pm: brief ceremony
2pm : sit-down lunch
3pm: cake
4pm:  farewell until the picnic!

We regret that due to space limitations, guest and children will not be able to come to the reception. However, we will have babysitters available from noon to 5pm nearby. The babysitters will be at the bride’s parents’ rental apartment, located at 523 9th street Brooklyn, NY. Frankies is just a 30 min walk and a 10-15 min car or subway ride away!

But please be sure to bring the kiddos to the picnic the next day!

Things to do in NYC

There are so many great things to do in New York. Here are a few of our favorites! (FYI, Hopstop is a great online map that will give you subway directions to wherever you want to go. We swear the subway isn’t as scary as the 19070’s movies make it out to be).

We have made a google map with locations and addresses (plus yelp reviews) of everything listed below.

FREE
Museum of Natural History
Staten Island Ferry

FOOD
Mamoun’s Fallafel - $3-$5 per person
Lombardi’s Pizza many claim to be the best, but only Lombardi’s can claim to be the first
Parm - $10 for a eggplant or chicken parm sandwich, and worth every penny

DRINKS
Roebling Tea Room - wine, tea, & food for any time of day
Ace Hotel Lobby - hipster haven with small plates & fancy drink
Flatiron - fancy (and pricey) drinks
Barcade - 14 beers on tap and old-school arcades, including Dig Dug, Tetris, and Frogger

MUSEUMS
Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)
The Whitney
Natural History Museum

OTHER
Upright Citizens Brigade - sketch comedy at its best! Check the site for schedule.
Yoga to the People - suggested donation of $10 per class, mat rental on premises, and a few locations throughout the city
